What MoodPulse is
MoodPulse is a public, free-to-use sentiment signal. Anyone in the world can log how they feel today in a single press. We aggregate those votes into a daily global mood index and publish trends by country and segment.
What MoodPulse is not
- It is not a mental-health diagnosis tool or therapy service.
- It is not a representative survey — participants are self-selected.
- It is not a market-research panel; we do not sell personal data.
Why it matters
Aggregated mood data, refreshed daily, gives journalists, researchers, NGOs and policymakers a fast-moving signal that complements slower instruments like annual well-being surveys. It is most useful for tracking change over time rather than absolute levels.
Our principles
- One press per day. Simple input, low friction, low noise.
- Anonymous by default. Sign-in is optional and only unlocks personal history.
- Aggregation, not surveillance. Public numbers only show groups of 50+ contributors.
- Open methodology. Every number on the site can be traced back to a documented formula.
