MoodPulse

For media & journalists

A daily, public, free sentiment signal you can cite, embed and chart.

Last updated:

What you can use

  • The global daily Mood Index (0–100).
  • Per-country indices where 50+ people have voted today.
  • The 7-day rolling trend.
  • Segment breakdowns (age, gender, industry, education, employment).

How to cite

Cite as: MoodPulse — Global Mood Index, accessed [date]. Please link to https://app.moodpulse.today and to the methodology page.

What to be careful about

  • MoodPulse is not a representative survey. Frame it as a signal, not a poll.
  • Day-to-day change is more reliable than absolute country levels.
  • Numbers below 50 contributors are intentionally suppressed.
  • MoodPulse does not measure mental illness, only self-reported mood.
